This body of work investigates the dynamics of dance and embodied movement through close observation and drawing of performers from the Moving Memory Dance Theatre Company. Central to the project is an emphasis on the older female body, focussing on a stage of life that is often marginalised or rendered invisible. Conducted as a self-directed residency, the project generated a series of works produced on site and in the studio, comprising drawings, paintings, and animations.
